There’s a certain feeling I’m always chasing.

Not a big, dramatic, life-changing kind of feeling...
but the soft, sparkly, everyday shimmer of something unexpected that lights me up inside.

The kind that shows up quietly and then stays with you...but you have to be looking, or you might just miss it. And most do.

That’s really what Aloha & Co. is about.

It’s about champagne bubbles catching the light just right and being unapologetically in love with all that glitters. 
Mermaids - because why should growing up mean giving up magic?
Fresh flowers on the counter for no reason at all.
The color Tiffany blue - a color that lights something up inside me, every time I see it.

It’s about cozy mornings at home - my sanctuary - wrapped in a warm throw, wearing my favorite buttery velvet robe, fire crackling, fuzzy socks on my feet, coffee in a favorite mug nearby.
It’s about travel and returning home...sharing photos & stories of unexpected treasures encountered along the way.

It’s Hawai'i - not just the place, but the feeling.

The way the air smells different.
The way flowers feel intentional.
The way color feels alive.
The way joy feels effortless.

The way your nervous system takes a deep sigh of relief when you arrive at your happy place.

It comes from noticing the little things:
The way wearing lei lights up its wearer.
A seashell dancing in the waves.
A moment or a sight that makes you pause - not because you have to, but because you want to.

And Aloha & Co. is for sharing those moments.

With friends.
With people we love.
With my favorite person - my husband - in the quiet, ordinary, beautiful moments that make life feel full.

I’ve always loved that line from The Sound of Music — “These are a few of my favorite things.”
Because it’s simple.
And it’s true.

I have a lot of favorite things.

This journal is exactly that.

A place for the things that make me smile.
The things that feel cozy, sparkly, comforting, joyful.
The things that feel like home - wherever I happen to be.

Some days this space will feel playful.
Some days reflective and deep.
Some days soft and slow.
Some days full of color and celebration.

But it will always be real. It will always be kind. It will always be filled with joy.
And it will always be shared with intention.
